Chapter 04 · Trust

Everyone here
is really here.

Intimacy needs a locked door. 1:1 starts by making sure every profile is one real, living adult — and then makes sure nobody else can look in.

Verified, live

Every face is checked. Live.

Before anyone can be introduced, they pass a live selfie check — proof it's a real person, in the room, matching their own photos.

One person, one profile. A face that's already vouched for an account can't open another. Catfishing isn't against the rules here; it's against the physics.

Eighteen and over, no exceptions — and accounts we're not sure about are reviewed by people, not just software.

Private by shape

Nobody can browse you.

There is no feed to appear in, no search to be found by, no grid of faces to be judged from. The only person who ever sees your profile is the one chosen for you.

Your conversations stay between the two of you. What you tell your matchmaker stays with your matchmaker — it briefs your match about you honestly, without handing over your words.

And when you leave, you take it all with you: deleting your account deletes your photos, your conversations, and everything learned about you.

The house rules

Old-fashioned rules,
firmly kept.

01

Block, instantly.

One tap, silent, permanent. A blocked person is never chosen for you again.

02

Report, and a person answers.

Reports are read by humans, with the serious ones read first. The community guidelines say exactly where the lines are.

03

Adults only. Protected fiercely.

18+, verified — and zero tolerance anywhere near minors. Our child safety standards are public.

04

Your data answers to you.

Plain-language privacy policy, export on request, deletion that actually deletes.

We verify faces, not histories — no matchmaking service can promise who someone will turn out to be. Meet in public first, and read our meeting-up guidance.
