To whoever is tired of looking,

Somewhere along the way, meeting someone became a volume business. A deck of faces. A market where everyone is both the shopper and the goods, and where the house wins as long as you keep looking.

We kept asking one question: what would this feel like if a person did it? A good matchmaker never handed you a catalogue. They knew you — your particulars, your pace, the things you'd never put on a form — and then one day they said the eight most hopeful words in the language: I think I've found someone you should meet.

That's the entire product. A matchmaker who learns you by talking with you. One introduction at a time, with reasons attached. A conversation that doesn't reset, doesn't compete with six others, and doesn't go cold because somebody had a busy week. A room where nobody can browse you, because you are not inventory.

It's deliberately slower. There's no deck to thumb through at midnight, and no queue behind the person in front of you. We think that's the point. Attention is the scarcest form of love, and every design decision here spends it on one person — yours on them, theirs on you.

If that sounds like too little, the other apps will take you back. They always do.

But if you're done performing for a crowd, we saved you a seat — across the table from exactly one person.
