Delete your account

1:1 by Foways · takes effect within 30 days

You can delete your 1:1 account and its data at any time, from inside the app or — if you no longer have the app — by emailed request. Deletion is permanent.

01In the app (fastest)

  1. Open 1:1 and go to the Me tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your session ends immediately and deletion of stored data completes within 30 days.

02Without the app

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my 1:1 account” and include the phone number the account is registered to. We may reply with a one-time code on WhatsApp to that number to confirm it's really you, then delete the account. You'll get a confirmation when it's done.

03What gets deleted

  • Your profile — name, date of birth, gender, city, country, work.
  • Your photos and verification selfie.
  • Your biometric verification data — the stored face vector used to prevent duplicate accounts.
  • Your conversations with the matchmaker and with matches, including voice notes and their archives.
  • Your personality profile and all extracted learnings.
  • Your push token and sessions.

04What may be kept, and why

  • Safety and enforcement records — reports made about or by you may be retained where there is a live safety matter or a legal obligation.
  • What others hold — messages you sent to a match remain in that person's copy of the conversation until their own data is deleted.
  • Aggregated, de-identified statistics — which no longer identify you.

Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play and are not cancelled by deleting your account — cancel in your store settings too.

Ask for an export before deleting: email [email protected] with the subject “Data export”. Details on all your rights are in the privacy policy.
